The word search puzzles were thoughtfully designed to be manageable for new readers. Each puzzle includes 6 words and word length increases as students move through the booklet. The words in this booklet (Level 1C) are oriented horizontally from left to right, vertically from top to bottom, diagonally up from left to right, and diagonally down from left to right. There’s an answer key for anyone who gets stuck. The complete list of all 60 included vocabulary words is as follows:

The Level 1A version of this booklet is the easiest version as it has all 60 words oriented horizontally from left to right. The Level 1B version of this booklet is a bit more challenging with the 60 words oriented horizontally from left to right and vertically from top to bottom.
